Thinking about getting a dark purple put in the black on the bottom of my hair, not a lot, just a streak or something. maybe maroon or pink. or blue or something.

no, it looks ok on certain people. my cousin used to have purple in her black hair and it looked really cute. just make sure that the colour blends well with your natural hair colour, and that it doesn't look too bright and crazy.

i had hot pink in my hair while the rest was black and it looked cool. i was going to do purple after but i had to get a job.

it all depends on the type of looks you have
if you have kind of light skin andd your features are sharp, it can work with a tint of red
If you have tan skin and are not horribly skinny purple might work
if you have a face that is not long but round and you are skinny pink might work

Well I have chestnut colored hair thats pretty long and layered with side bangs. I dyed my hair blue but because of the amount of hair I have it didnt get my whole head so I had blue mixed with brown, it was soooooooooo pretty. The coloor blue came out as an aqua blue/saphire blue.Its starting to fade right now so it looks like a sea green(still very pretty).I say if you have brown hair go with blue,sometimes purple dosnt show up.Ohh and dont do permant hair color it damages your hair go with semi permant it will last 2-6 weeks and wont damage your hair.And you dont need color touch ups you just redo it after it starts to fade
