Im an exotic animal enthuisiast, and I do have experiance with tarantulas and other exotics such as snakes, lizards, and scorpions, but im not sure on this. I got my rose hair as an adult and never had to deal with growing her up. And this pink toe has been at the store for weeks, and is no more than 1 inch if it were spread out(on estimate). No doubt i want it, but i feel like it could possibly be underfed or its just not smart to get them that young with not much experiance with pink toes. So should i still get it? experianced people only please.
I want to buy a pink toe tarantula, but the only one ive seen is TINY....should i still get it?
I buy plenty of spiderlings myself and normally once they are about an inch they have a pretty good chance of surviving.
Just make sure the abdomen looks well filled out. If the abdomen is skinny, avoid it..
Remember, tarantulas hatch out hundreds of eggs. They hatch plenty to make up for all the ones that won't make it.
If it's like $30 I'd skip it and order a few online. I normally order trios of anything just to improve the odds that I have a female that makes it to adulthood. You can even get a more unusual avicularia species for about $30 and avicularia avicularia only runs about $10 for a 1" one online.
Just remember to keep it in a small enough container so it can find food and prekill the cricket completely before feeding.

If you feel t is healthy, and if you can supply it's food (probably pin head crickets) on a regular basis, go ahead.
