Blonde hair red?

I want to dye my blonde hair a dark non permanent red (mulberry, dark mahogany colour). Is it likely to turn pink? I dont want to go permanent but does anyone have any suggestions?

Blonde hair red?

I have dyed my hair last week from blonde to brown but i have gone a ginger colour instead..... !!! not very nice !!

It wont turn pink, but it wont be the color you want either. check on the package. it usually has a picture of what your color is now and how it would turn out.

Dyes aren't usually designed for very blonde hair. It will go very bright, but probably not pink. Do a test bit, or dye brown and then go for the red.

Going more then one or two shade darker or lighter then your natural hair cloror dont usualy turn out the color you want it to be. Unless you get it done at a hair salon.

I dyed my hair my self from brown, to light brown to blond and it still turned out with a red tint instead of blond. Then i dyed it a lighter blond figuring it would take out the red tint. It didnt it made it more of a red tint and orange tint.

Then when you are waiting on the hair dye to come out you will have a bunch of different shade of hair. So I would NOT do that if I was you.

as your blonde it will go a deep red and will colour beautifully but will take a while to fade out

To be honest I would visit a salon or look on the back of a box and see is there is an web page for the product or a phone number so you can email or ring for advice.

I have never coloured my hair as I am a redhead and I tend not to work but I have had it streaked and I did it at the salon.

Still no answers on why we go wrinkly in the pool or bath (",)

Blonde hair red?

i brought a home kit when i was younger because i wanted to go red (none permanent of course) and it turned out a horrible ginger color, lesson learnt get it done professionaly, but then it will be permanent?

Question is "your blonde hair is it natural or is it a dyed blonde?

My response to you is go to a hair salon!! Consultations are normally 'free'. If your pocket book can handle it, proceed with the change.

If your pocket book cannot handle it you still have a 'professional' option if you live in a community with a Beauty School!! You will pay considerably less than at a regular salon but still have it professionally done. Hairdressing students are monitored and guided by licensed hairdressers so make use of these facilities. They use professional salon product to boot. If you don't like the finished results, tell the school and they will rectify the job; heck, that is what I expect you would do if you were not satisfied with a job done at a full service professional salon!!

Have fun, experiment and enjoy your hair!!

Blonde hair red?

Don't do it unless you go to a professional

iv done it. its nice. adds some warmth. start with highlights though.

Blonde hair red?

no, but as it washes out it will go a funny ginger colour!!
