Hair problems?

I have a biracial daughter and we need some advice on how to keep her hair under control. It gets really frizzy and she cant leave it down, we always have to leave it in a pony-tail. Ive tried pink lotion but that didn't work and I also tried pantene (women of color) shampoo%26amp;conditioner but still frizzy HELP PLEASE SOME ONE!! And no nastey comments please!!

Hair problems?

those types of products (pink lotion, and pantene's women of color) are made to moisturize the hair and to prevent breakage. the key is taming frizies so what u want to do is purchase a gloss or serum to put an end to them...i personally recommend john freida's frizz ease...hope this helps!

Hair problems?

Try John Frieda's hair frizz control. I dont know if I spelled his last name correct, but trust me they sell his products every where. Try it maybe it might work.

Hair problems?

There are certain hair straighteners you can but which can even tame afro type hair if your daughter would like to wear it down %26amp; straight. I think the larger GHD's would probably work fine, also if you put on a hair serum or wax after using them to give it more shine %26amp; keep it from getting frizzy again. GHd's are quite expensive but they really are worth it in my opinion! Good luck!

Hair problems?

u should have to consult a good dermatologist(hair specialist) because its a serious matter. please dont experiment with hairs .ok.

Hair problems?

Taking care of the hair is a process. Sometimes something works, but because we sometimes expect the result to quickly, we move on to another product. Use a light natural moituriser for the hair. The less heavy(with chemicals) the product, the better it works. Wash once a week and condition after each wash. Carrot conditoner is quite good.

moisturize the scalp and hair daily with hair food (grease).

After one month, the hair should be doing much better. Keep

up the process please, so it won't get back to the same condition.

Hair problems?

I think it's by John Freda " Frizz Eaze" put in wet hair and blow dry. They also have the kids products I believe it's called "Soft and Pretty". Their products are pretty good.

I also use

Motions ( Light Oil Moisturizer)

Take her to a blk salon and let them do her hair. They'll be able to give you a few pointers. Maybe it's time for her to get a relaxer.

Hair problems?

My daughter is also biracial but is 16 now. When she was younger, I found a very good black hairdresser that I liked and would give me advice and help on how to care for her hair. If your daughter is very young try to stay away from relaxers but find someone who you can trust to help you. As far as home care, I always used Creme of Nature shampoo %26amp; their conditioners. It is in the black hair care section. Find another type of lotion other than pink. Try a local Sally's store - they have plenty of hair care items and may be able to recommend a good hair dresser!

Hair problems?

okay, if you cannot do any things about it, even hair condition or anythings. some people just born with a fizzy hair. then you should bring her to a a hair dresser, and design one good hairstyle for the fizzy hair, can look very good.

Hair problems?

I have the same problem with my niece and she hated her hair. I used REDKEN for frizz and curls. She can now waer her hair down. I highly recommend going to your salon to see what they have.
