i have natural brown hair and i want to either dye it chocolate brown or blonde. I am also growing it to donate it, but i also want to put a pink streak in it. so what do u think i should do. also some style ideas. please any links, pics, tips, anything!!! ty!!!

will light/bright pink your hair needs to blond

hot pink needs dark hair to make look good

if you really want the pink, i'd say go blonde.

otherwise, you'd have to dye it brown, then bleach it, then dye it pink. waaaay too much damage.

with blonde, you'd just have to dye or bleach the blonde, then go pink. much less damage. (and also looks a little better).

I would go for the brown, alot of people have the blonde and the difference of colors would look sort of weird, but if the pink is a dark pink i would definantly go for the brown.

Unless it's changed Locks of Love only takes "virgin hair" and that means no color-no perms. Better think again.

If you haven't coloured your hair before, then may-be try foiling/highlights (or lowhights in a darker clour) to see if you like it. This will cause less damage to your hair, also a darker colour will do less damge than bleaching it blonde, you can also get awya with having it done less often. Why not try a pink streak at the base of your neck just to one side, that way you can either show it ie when you wear it up. Or hide it when you may want to change your look.
