I recently, well a week and 3 days ago, died my hair black, it is naturally a few shades or so lighter.
I want to bleach alot of my head to blonde and then dye it pink, like a few weeks later.
How long do I have to wait to be able to bleach my hair? [I'm getting it done salon]
Cause I heard it might turn green if I do it now
thanks
best aswer gets points
Recently dyed black hair, bleach?
Wait at least 2 weeks, but it's best to wait 4. The problem with bleaching black out is that it can turn green, only if it is a green based dye. Like if it was a red based dye, it will be orange, etc. You hair will be pretty damaged afterwards, so make sure to ask your stylist for some good shampoo/conditioner. The best is Phyto Organics by Nexxus because it is low in alcohol so it won't dry out your hair.

You'll have to get the parts you want to be bleached and eventually pink, stripped of the hair dye. After which, you get that part bleached.
Just ask your stylist to strip the color for you.

You really dont have to wait, your hair wont turn green but it may get real dried out from dying so frequently...

wait at least 4 to 4 in a half weeks becuse bleach can damage your hair
Recently dyed black hair, bleach?
You don't have to wait. But expect that it's going to take a while to get it blonde enough to dye it pink, and it is extremely damaging.
The only way to turn your hair green is to add an ash color to dyed or bleached blonde hair. The base is blue, which when added to yellow, makes green.
Black is very hard to remove. What they would have to do in order to get it blonde, doesn't make one difference in whether you wait another week or 6 months. Damage is damage when you're going that drastic.
