New hair color help!!?

I currently have blonde hair(dyed). I want to dye my hair dark but dont know what color I should get. I have tried going dark before and it was black....which i didn't really like. I have extremely fair skin with a pink undertone and dont tan. I have greenish-blue eyes. Does anyone know what color would flatter me the most? I want a color that I can go natural with(not have to wear a lot of makeup in order to look alright). Somewhere in the dark brown range.

Girl go to a professional. Your hair is going to be very porious from the lightener that you have used so it is going to soak up any color that is put on it and often it will soak up the base of the color the most. Which means that if you use a blue base black...blue and yellow make...green. If you must do it yourself I suggest that you use something much lighter then you think you want because of this. It probably should have a purple base since purple and yellow will nuetralize each other. Although it is hard to say without seeing your hair now. You can snip a strand of hair, tape the bunch at the top and use it to test out the color changes before commiting yourself to it on your head. Good luck

Do not color your hair black, go with a dark chocolate brown, something with a shimmer. This way when your ready to go blonde again, it will not be hard to get back to it from the dark brown, if you go black, it'll be a huge process.

Dye it black wih blonde streaks. I've found that to look really cute on people.

I would try going a darker brown with a few light brown and blondish highlights i think that would look really nice. Just make sure you don't go overboard because it will end up looking streaky. Good luck im sure it will look really nice!

try clairol natural instincts.. and try the toasted almond.. i used it and loved the color.. but with box colors you never know what youll get so the best bet is to go to a salon.. its may cost more but itll look tons better...

Be careful going from blonde to brown, or it may get black or even ashy green, especially if you are really light blonde. If you are dark blonde, put a light brown on first, then go darker if necessary. If you are really light, first put a color with the word "warm" in it, to counteract potential ash, then follow with desired brown.

just go dirty blond. since you have fair skin you wont look all that strange. If you would go any darker you'll need a tan haha

Yes, use Clairol Natural Instincts. You can get it at most any stores. You describe yourself as very similar to Lindsey Lohan. (warm features). She recently went dark too, so I would suggest Clairol Narural Insticts #28B, Roasted Chestnut, Dark Warm Brown. It will fill your "blonde" hair, and make it a rich dark brown color. It also is an amonia free color, so it will reduce any further damage.

i have pretty fair skin also. with blue eyes, a medium brown is your best bet, get herbal essiences, that's the dye i have dyed my hair for a couple of years now, i am a natural blond, but i dye my hair brown, cause it looks better on me. i recently dyed my hair a dark brown with red tints, and i love it, so i'd stick to brown and go with whatever shade you like! people with light colored eyes want to go with any shades of either brown or red
