my hair i about 2 inches below my shoulder with layered a side bangs to the right. its dark brown and i want pink highlights i already have the dye for it but i need ideas!! i dont no wether i should get them on my 1st layer ,or 2nd layer, or all over? or should i go chucky highlights and a couple opr alot of little ones?!?! If you want pink highlights and have dark brown hair, first you're going to have to bleach it blonde wherever you want to add the pink.
I would just do a few wider chunks, but, that's my personal preference.

anything will work but you have lighten your hair first then do the pink in order for it not be orange looking. Also what are you going to do when you don't want it pink any more. Do you know what it takes to get the pink out if it doesn't fade. You could end up damaging your hair. I do hair and have for 15 years. I just want to make sure that before you do anything to your hair that drastic that you know all the effects of it. I would say top blondish middle pinkish and bottom your nautral with layers in it. But remember what if you dont' like it when you are done.... It will damage your hair to get it out.
