ok, so i have black hair and i want to dye it brown and have strips of blonde and red in it...

will it look good?

how about if i replace red with pink?

i think red and black would be the best combination........pink is a little too much in my opinion........and red (or any other color) resists in your hair for maximum 2 months, depending on what you use......try Garnier......worked for me ;)

your hair is nice! stay with the black and do the red chunks, do not do those played-out thin highlight streaks on top of your hair. do a chunk inside red. it looks better and your hair wont be damaged on top when you bleach it. if you go with a punk red you will have to bleach that part first, then you add the semi-permanent red hair dye.it lasts about a week if you wash your hair everyday. if you wash it every other day maybe 2 weeks until the color starts fading to pink. overall it lasts about a month, but it wont look the same. it fades with every wash. starts red then pink within 2 1/2 weeks.
