I really love this film, but am I the only one who thinks that her dress at the end clashed horribly with her hair?
I know it was the 80's and all but still...
I was reminded of this film after catching Psychadelic Furs 'Pretty In Pink' on VH1 earlier!
Pretty in Pink...?
Yeah, the pink really did not go well with her coloring.
But the worse crime was showing up looking like a lace-festooned icing bag. Either one of the other dresses would have looked better before Andie sliced them up and put together that Frankenfasion horror.
Maybe that's why the rich kids made fun of her - it's not her iconoclastic individualism - it's that she runs around looking like a big slice of birthday cake.
WHAT ABOUT PROM, BLANE? WHAT ABOUT PROM?
Pretty in Pink...?
I think that Molly Ringwald is the most beautiful female specimen I have ever seen in my life
Pretty in Pink...?
Yes!!!! I have always thought that! LOL!
Pretty in Pink...?
I never did like the dress, maybe that was why.
Pretty in Pink...?
red heads shouldnt wear shades of red or orange...never turns out pretty
Pretty in Pink...?
Redheads should almost never wear pink...it's just an unwritten rule that should be followed.
Pretty in Pink...?
she may have clashed - but Molly Ringwald was my everything back in the day! WOW...
you wanna talk about clash? Ducky is the epitome of the word!
great movie though - and the Furs were a great band as well.
great question!
Pretty in Pink...?
It wasn't that it was pink but the design of the dress itself, i thought it was going to be prettier....
Pretty in Pink...?
I know what you are saying, and you're right. But the 80's was a time when it was cool and hip to clash, remember? That was the style. What was attractive, was really what was outrageous and gawdy. Remember Madonna in the 80's?
Pretty in Pink...?
I love this movie, but I agree with you that the end dress was AWFUL! I mean they took two really pretty distinctive dresses, and her character makes a disgusting one to wear. Not cute at all!!
