My daughter used "Special Effects" to color her hair in March. Apparently it uses bleach to take the color out then put Pink in. We now want to get it back to a "normal" shade of brunette but are at a loss as to the best way to go about it. I am scared to put color from a box over the color now and am wondering it I should buy a color remover %26amp; then use the box. Help!
Any Hair Stylists or Color Masters out there?
Well you can go to a Sally's beauty supply. You might need a stripper and strip the color and buy a brown to match her natural hair color. You can lift her hair up and look in the back to try to match it. Also, you will need to get a 30 volume peroxide to get the lift that you want. You mix it equal parts. You might have to repeat a couple times to make it stay. Keep the color on like 25-30 minutes. Also, take a comb while the color is in and comb it thought to make sure the color reaches all the strands of hair.

go and see a good hairdresser so that you get the best results. using a home kit could mean getting 1 solid colour which wont look natural.

Color remover will just be bleaching and stripping the hair even more. Go to a salon. If you cant afford it only use a "deposit color". This way it wont get as damaged. Try popping in asalon at least for advis4e. Its hard to tell anything without looking at it.
