Can I dye over fudge red corvette semi perm hair colour?

I first bleached %26amp; dyed a section of my hair with fudge red corvette. It is now a ghastly hot pink :(

I did this 2 days ago...can I cover it with a dark red permanent dye? Maybe a mahogany or auburn?? Will this turn it orange? or worse?

you be fine. since your are darken the color you can color over it. if you as going to try to lighten the color by the new color that would not work. because color do not lift color.

your artificial color is red, i dont know what your natural color is. but i know since you are placing another color with a red base and only using 10 volume developer or lower since you only need to deposit not lift. you will get red not orange.

Try covering it with a brown first, if that doesnt work, use a dark red, at least it will be darker when you go to use the dark red. Or if you want it that bright red, do it again, but leave the color on for a bit longer. Dying your hair red over bleached blond is always a bad idea, i once did my super short hair platinium blond (dont ask, it was a dare), but unfortunately i still had a little red in the ends, it went apricot at the tips. To cover the blond, i had to use 2 colors, first i used a dark brown as a kind of filler first, it went orange, then i used a dark red, it was definately a bright red after that, looked alright tho, im partial to bright, fire engine red.
