I've used manic panic too, and that's the best stuff. But you're right, it's expensive. My hair dresser gets her stuff wholesale from distributers. I would look in that direction if I were you. Plus, that stuff stays in hair longer and it's brighter. If that doesn't work, you could always use kool-aid!

these places offer you hairdye/ etc etc in bulk.

meaning you get more for less.
